Laser Safety and Responsible Use

This product emits invisible high-power laser radiation. Never direct the beam or reflections toward people, skin, animals, aircraft, vehicles, public areas, reflective surfaces, or unprotected observers. Use wavelength-appropriate certified laser protective eyewear, restrict access to the work area, and follow applicable training, safety, and market-compliance requirements. The housing may become warm because it is designed to dissipate heat.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the effective distance of the 80W Portable Laser Igniter?

The supplied specification lists approximately 1 meter, or up to 2 meters on black objects under suitable conditions. Actual performance depends on material, color, focus, weather, and operating conditions.

How long does the battery operate?

The listed runtime is approximately 20–30 minutes under intermittent use. Use 1–3 second pulses with cooling intervals rather than continuous output.

What charger and battery does it use?

It has an integrated 3S 750mAh 30C battery pack with a balanced protection board and uses the supplied 12.6V 1A DC charger.

Does the unit have thermal protection?

Yes. Extended activation triggers an automatic cutoff after approximately 15 seconds. Thermal protection safeguards the equipment; it does not make exposure to the beam safe.

Is the infrared beam visible?

No. The primary infrared output is invisible. A visible red aiming guide is provided for reference and does not show the full hazard area of the infrared beam.

Who should use this product?

This equipment is intended only for qualified adult users who understand high-power laser hazards and can operate it in a controlled area according to applicable rules.
